About OCN
Orchestrall Care Network (OCN) is a multimedia platform for family caregivers who care for an elderly loved one at home. OCN provides personalized training in caregiving and self-care through an intelligent app, short videos, and printed handbooks.
Family caregivers (FCGs) bear many responsibilities, such as:
-
medical treatment plan adherence
-
polypharmacy
-
nutrition non-drug therapies and exercise
-
emotional and social well-being
-
emergency care
-
financial and end of life planning
These responsibilities pose many challenges, and few FCGs have received any training. FCGs often find it difficult to manage their time, and to find respite care that allows for time off. Caregivers may encounter limitations in professional pursuits and suffer from depression. Despite these challenges, FCGs feel that caring for their loved ones is meaningful and fulfilling.
OCN’s intelligent algorithm supports caregivers by delivering personalized training content from the OCN library, which is available in both English and Chinese. Through OCN, FCGs learn skills to address their needs of the moment, and improve the quality of life for both caregivers and care recipients.
